GOD HAS STARTED A GOOD WORK AMONG US.
Over the last 7 years, our church has grown from a small, mobile, multi-site of Cornerstone Church of Ames into a vibrant spiritual family — with 4 weekend worship services and over 1,000 people gathering for worship every week!
We are asking God to carry on and expand our mission to help people know and follow Jesus.
GOD'S WORK IS UN-FINISHED.
We believe this is a defining moment in the life of our church, when we can look back on all the great things God has done in the past and trust, this is only the beginning.
“We believe this is a defining moment in the life of our church.”
God is calling us to carry on the good work He has started. We are committed to our Un-Finished Mission to help people know and follow Jesus and compelled to embrace the Un-Finished Vision to expand our capacity to reach our community by investing in a new facility.
We challenge everyone who calls Keystone their home to carry on the good work God has started in their lives by taking their relationship with Jesus to the next level of surrender, faith, and generosity.
Sunday, February 23rd • 8:00am, 9:15am, 10:30am, 11:45am
In addition to praying for and celebrating ministry at Keystone Church, we are asking everyone who attends Keystone to make a two-year financial commitment to Un-Finished. We will be collecting Un-Finished Commitment Cards on Commitment Weekend, which is Sunday, February 23rd.
WHAT IS UN-FINISHED?
Un-Finished represents our vision to carry on the good work God has started. We are committed to our mission to help people know and follow Jesus. We are also compelled to embrace the vision to expand our capacity to reach our community by investing in a new facility.
Over the next two years, we plan to design and build a facility. We are praying that every single person involved in our church will fully engage in the work God has set before us.
THE PRIMARY GOAL
The primary goal of Un-Finished is 100% participation. We want every man, woman, and child who calls Keystone their home to carry on the good work God has started in their lives.
We encourage everyone to take their relationship with Jesus to the next level of surrender, faith, and generosity.
THE SECONDARY GOAL
Over the next two years, every gift given to Keystone will go toward Un-finished. This will include the operating budget and the vision fund for a new facility.
We are trusting God to move through His people to invest $9 million over the next two years to accomplish the vision He has given us.
WE INVITE YOU TO JOIN THE UN-FINISHED VISION
GOD HAS BEGUN A GOOD WORK...
Through Un-Finished, you will likely take some of the biggest steps of faith you have ever taken. By recognizing God is Un-Finished with you personally, you have the opportunity to grow into new levels of spiritual maturity. By recognizing God is Un-Finished with us as a church, we can join together and carry on our mission to our growing community and world.
This will be a season of transformation. We invite you to engage deeply with everything you have.
"SEARCH ME O GOD"
Search me, God, and know my heart;
test me and know my concerns.
See if there is any offensive way in me;
lead me in the everlasting way.
– Psalm 139:23-24
From the beginning, God has been writing the story of Keystone and that story is "unfinished." How is God working in you as you consider how you will personally participate in what He's doing?
THE JOURNEY OF A GIVER
Now as you excel in everything—in faith, speech, knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love for us—excel also in this act of grace. – 2 Corinthians 8:7
The Journey of a Giver focuses on the behaviors and attitudes of our hearts rather than on amounts or percentages, further transforming us into the likeness of Christ. Each step of the journey represents growth in generosity and sacrifice. Scripture encourages us to grow in every facet of our walk with Christ, including the “grace” of giving (2 Corinthians 8:7).
One of the biggest potential sources of conflict in marriage is money. Having loving and helpful discussions about money can be very challenging. Our elders have several practical pieces of wisdom for married couples as they process through these difficult conversations.
THINKING RIGHTLY ABOUT MONEY
When we think and talk about money, many issues, tensions, and questions inevitably come up. How should I think about giving in relation to money concerns such as debt? How should I think about giving toward Un-Finished versus supporting other worthy causes? How should I set my priorities in giving?
