God’s Hand in Church Planting

During Prepare 2025, my big prayer was that God would provide me with discernment whether it was his plan for me to move to Bowling Green, KY on the church plant or not. I had seen him open doors of interest for me but still struggled with knowing if Kentucky is where he wanted me.

I had prayed to have boldness in my faith to take this step of obedience if this is where he was calling me. As the doors stayed open, I began to see God’s hand working through it all. As I gave my yes to moving on this church plant I knew I would be sacrificing my own comfort to do greater things for the Lord. I would be moving away from my family, friends, community and the only town I had ever lived in.

In August, I moved to Bowling Green to be on Salt leadership and begin launching Anthem Hill Church. I have seen God’s hand working through it all. He has provided me with a home, job, church family, and an abundant amount of relationships formed with Students at Western Kentucky University and people in the community of Bowling Green. 

God has blessed me in ways greater than I could have imagined with moving here and being obedient in saying yes to where he called me.
